Penticton Beer Week
Penticton Beer Week is a ten-day celebration of the city's craft breweries, held every September. It's run by Penticton Beer Blocks, a collective of seven local breweries, and 2026 was its eighth year.
When is Penticton Beer Week?
Mid to late September. The 2026 edition ran September 18 to 27. Earlier editions were held in October, so check the dates each year on Visit Penticton.
Which breweries take part?
- Abandoned Rail Brewing
- Barley Mill Brewery
- Cannery Brewing
- Highway 97 Brewing
- Neighbourhood Brewing
- Tin Whistle Brewing
- Yellow Dog Brewing
What happens during Beer Week?
The 2026 centrepiece was the Weird Beer Brewery Crawl. You picked up a passport at any of the seven breweries, tried each one's strangest beer on tap and collected a stamp at every stop. Finish all seven and you earned a limited-edition Penticton Beer Blocks hat. Through the week, the breweries also host their own tastings, collaborations and parties.
Tips for visiting
- Pick up a passport early. They're limited.
- Plan your route. Several breweries are a short walk from downtown. Book a ride for the rest.
- Meet the brewers. Read our profile of Abandoned Rail Brewing Co., one of the seven.
