Fireside Festival, Kelowna

Fireside Festival is Kelowna's winter music and arts festival, held over a weekend in late January or early February. It began as a small gathering of local artists at a Kelowna home and has grown into a ticketed festival. 2026 was its 11th year, held entirely at BNA Brewing Co. in downtown Kelowna.

When is Fireside Festival?

A weekend in late January or early February. Recent editions:

  • 2026: January 31 and February 1, at BNA Brewing Co.
  • 2025: early February
  • 2024: February 3 and 4

What to expect

Fireside mixes local and touring musicians with Okanagan visual artists, who create work on site through the weekend. In 2026, Saturday was a late-night program of mostly electronic music across two stages, and Sunday was a mellower afternoon and evening of live bands. Local vendors and large-scale art installations fill out the venue.

Who runs it?

Fireside was founded by Kelowna's Aaron DeSilva, its creative director. Read our interview: Get to Know Aaron DeSilva, Founder and Creative Director of Kelowna's Fireside Festival.
